The 2024 Oscar nominations have been announced, with historical drama Oppenheimer leading the pack with 13 noms. Poor Things followed with 11, while Martin Scorsese’s Killers Of The Flower Moon landed 10. With this latest recognition, Scorsese becomes the most nominated living movie director.

American Fiction star Jeffrey Wright landed a Best Actor nom while co-star Sterling K. Brown is in the running for a Best Supporting Actor trophy. Wright will go up against Bradley Cooper (Maestro) Paul Giamatti, (The Holdovers), Cillian Murphy (Oppenheimer) and Colman Domingo (Rustin), who also featured in 2023 musical The Color Purple.

Speaking of which, while Danielle Brooks‘ scene-stealing turn as Sophia earned the former Orange Is The New Black star a Supporting Actress nomination, neither Taraji P. Henson nor Fantasia made the cut, leaving some fans disgruntled.

The 96th Oscars will be held on Sunday, March 10. Check out the full list of nominees below.
